The HED Jet 9 Black Tubeless Wheelset gives your bike a stealth look along with a combination of braking performance and speed. This version is made to specifically accommodate rim brake compatible bikes and tubeless tires. The rims of these wheels are made with a combination of aluminum alloy and carbon fiber for a mix of durability and low weight. The anodized alloy that creates the brake tracks is incredibly efficient in terms of braking. HED claims that these wheels reduce stopping distance by 25 percent in dry conditions and 75 percent in wet weather compared to typical wheels. They also claim a five time increase in braking consistency, assuring a safe ride in all conditions.

While the stopping power of these wheels is impressive, they are still known for their awesome speed. HED engineered their own Stability Control Technology which helps the wheels deal with forces inflicted by sidewinds at angles of 0-15 degrees. The Jet 9 model has a deeper rim profile than any of the others, providing the most aerodynamic efficiency in the Jet line. Customers who loved the already popular Jet Plus 25mm rims will get even more for their dollar out of this new and improved version.
